Turkey Asparagus Melt

 Ingredients List

  • 1/4 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tb Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 ts Dried sage leaves; crushed
  • 3 Sourdough hoagie buns or
  • -hoagie buns; split
  • -lengthwise (about 6-inch
  • -length)
  • 3/4 lb Sliced cooked turkey
  • 1 cn (15 oz) green giant extra
  • -long tender green asparagus
  • -spears; drained
  • 1/2 c Red onion rings
  • 1 1/2 c Shredded colby cheese;
  • -monterey jack blend cheese
  • -or cheddar cheese


In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard and sage; mix well. Spread 1 to
2 tablespoons mixture on each bun half. Top each with one-sixth of turkey,
asparagus spears, onion rings and cheese.

Place sandwiches on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 to 4
minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is bubbly.
