Turkey Asparagus Melt
Ingredients List
- 1/4 c Mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 2 tb Dijon mustard
- 1/2 ts Dried sage leaves; crushed
- 3 Sourdough hoagie buns or
- -hoagie buns; split
- -lengthwise (about 6-inch
- -length)
- 3/4 lb Sliced cooked turkey
- 1 cn (15 oz) green giant extra
- -long tender green asparagus
- -spears; drained
- 1/2 c Red onion rings
- 1 1/2 c Shredded colby cheese;
- -monterey jack blend cheese
- -or cheddar cheese
Directions
In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, mustard and sage; mix well. Spread 1 to
2 tablespoons mixture on each bun half. Top each with one-sixth of turkey,
asparagus spears, onion rings and cheese.
Place sandwiches on broiler pan. Broil 4 to 6 inches from heat 3 to 4
minutes or until thoroughly heated and cheese is bubbly.
