 Ingredients List

  • 1/2 c Butter
  • 2 c Dry Curd Cottage Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 c Cracker Meal
  • 2 c Flour
  • 2 tb Sugar
  • 1 ds Salt


Combine all ingredients. On a floured board, roll portions into cigar
shapes, about 4-inches long. Drop half at a time into boiling water. Cook
15 minutes, removed carefully with a slotted utensil to drain. Serve
sprinkled with sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter.

Makes 18 dumplings.

Note: Name is pronounced Sheeshky
