Urulakazhangu Kaarakari (Spicy Potato Curry)

Ingredients List
- 1 kg Potatoes; boiled and mashed
- 1 ts Turmeric
- 2 ts Sambar powder
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 Sprigs curry leaves; chopped
- Salt; to taste
- ---For Seasoning---
- 2 ts Black mustard seeds
- 4 ts Black gram dal
- 2 Red chiles; broken
- 4 tb Coconut oil
Directions
Heat oil and add mustard seeds, black gram dal and red chilies. When brown,
add turmeric and curry leaves. Fry for a minute and add mashed potatoes,
salt and sambar powder. Cook on a low fire till dry. Add lemon juice and
mix well. Serve hot.
