Ingredients List
- 2 tb Butter or margarine
- 2 tb Maple syrup
- 1 lg Apple -- cored; thinly
- Sliced
- 1 Firm, ripe pear -- cored;
- Thinly sliced
- 1/3 c Raisins or currants
- 1/3 c Walnuts or pecans --
- Chopped
- 1 ds Ground cinnamon
- 1 ds Nutmeg
- 2 tb Water
- 2 tb Brandy
Directions
1. Melt butter in a saute pan or large skillet. Stir in maple syrup and
adjust to taste.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Cook over medium heat and stir until fruits
are tender.
* Timesaver Tip: Ingredients can be prepared ahead; rub apple and pear
slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
