Western Kentucky-Style Barbecue Sauce

 Ingredients List

  • 1 3/4 c Water
  • 1 c Plus 2 tablespoons catsup
  • 1/3 c Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 ts Ground red pepper
  • 1 ts Paprika
  • 1 ts Dry mustard
  • 3/4 ts Garlic salt
  • 3/4 ts Onion powder
  • 3/4 ts Pepper

 Directions

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Cook over medium heat 20 minutes.
Use to baste chicken or ribs.
