White-Cooked Cubed Pork

 Ingredients List

  • 2 lb Pork
  • 1/2 c Sherry
  • 4 c Water
  • 1 ts Salt
  • 1 tb Sugar

 Directions

1. Cut pork in 1-1/2 inch cubes. Place in a heavy pan with sherry, water
and salt. Bring to a boil; then simmer, covered, until tender (about 1
hour).

2. Add sugar and simmer 10 minutes more.
