Copycat McDonald's Shamrock Shake With Bailey's Whipped Cream

Ingredients List
- :::::::: For the milkshake ::::::::
- 1 cup vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
- Green food coloring (optional)
- :::::::: For the whipped cream ::::::::
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon Irish cream (use 1 teaspoon vanilla extract if you want it non-alcoholic)
Directions
For the milkshake:
Put the ice cream, milk, and peppermint extract in a blender and blend for a few minutes until it is combined. Add the food coloring until you reach the desired shade of green (I used about 8 drops). Pour into a glass and set aside.
For the whipped cream:
In a medium bowl, whip the cream until it starts to thicken. Slowly add the powdered sugar then add the Irish cream (or vanilla). Whip until stiff peaks are formed (when you pull the beaters straight up out of the cream, it should make little peaks that won”™t fall over). Top the milkshake with the whipped cream.
