Scandinavian egg coffee
Ingredients List
- 4½ quarts(4½ L) cold fresh water
- 1½ cups regular grind Scandinavian blend coffee
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup cold fresh water
Directions
In a large saucepan,boil 4½ quarts(4½ L) water.
In a mixing bowl,combine coffee and egg white,reserving the shell.
Mix well and stir the egg mixture and shell into boiling water.
Return to a boil.
Remove from heat and set aside for couple of minutes.
Slowly pour in cold water to help settle the grounds.
Strain,and serve Scandinavian egg coffee into large and warm mugs.
